Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New "Little Giant" enterprises are leaders among small and medium-sized enterprises, focusing on niche markets, possessing strong innovation capabilities, high market share, mastering key core technologies, and excelling in quality and efficiency.
Current Status of Qichun's Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New "Little Giant" Enterprises
Currently, the number of Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New "Little Giant" enterprises in Qichun has reached 23, including 1 national-level Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New "Little Giant" certified enterprise, 22 provincial-level Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New "Little Giant" certified enterprises, and 10 provincial-level hidden champion cultivation enterprises in subdivided pillar industries. We are actively applying for Ruiyuan Electronics to become a national-level key "Little Giant" enterprise.
How are Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New "Little Giants" Made?
In recent years, Qichun has continuously increased the cultivation and support for Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New "Little Giant" enterprises, enhanced their innovation capabilities and competitiveness, and promoted industrial transformation and upgrading. By implementing the three major projects of "Technological Transformation and Empowerment, Manufacturing Renewal", "Technological Innovation", and "Integration of Informatization and Industrialization", we vigorously develop advanced manufacturing and carefully cultivate Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New "Little Giant" enterprises.
Vigorously implement the cultivation project of backbone enterprises. Taking the "Huanggang City Implementation Plan for a New Round of Three-Year Action for Technological Transformation (2021-2023)" as a starting point, adjust the subsidy policy for technological transformation, focusing on the requirements of intelligence, automation, greening, informatization, and safety, implement the "Technological Transformation and Enhancement, Manufacturing Renewal" action, guide and promote enterprises to implement a new round of larger-scale and higher-level technological transformation and upgrading projects, accelerate the promotion of production line replacement, equipment renewal, and machine replacement, and enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry. Actively strive for more than 20 million yuan in technical transformation support and encouragement funds. Combining with the actual situation of the county's nine key manufacturing industry chain leader system, implement a "10 billion" enterprise cultivation plan, provide "point-to-point" precise services, and support key enterprises in the nine industry chains to expand their scale, improve quality, increase efficiency, and become bigger and stronger. A total of 58 technological transformation projects have been subsidized with technological transformation project subsidy funds, with a total subsidy amount of 14,138,700 yuan, which effectively enhanced the enthusiasm of traditional manufacturing enterprises for technological transformation and promoted the upgrading of traditional manufacturing.
Focus on scientific and technological innovation to lead high-quality development. Fully implement the "Three-Year Action Plan for Scientific and Technological Innovation-Driven High-Quality Development in Qichun County", and orderly implement the "University-Enterprise Cooperation", "High-tech Enterprise Cultivation Project", "Innovation Platform Construction Project", "R&D Investment Doubling Project", "Scientific and Technological Achievement Transformation", and "Talent Introduction" projects, and promote the construction of provincial-level engineering technology research centers, enterprise-university joint innovation centers, and enterprise self-built technology centers. Encourage enterprises to increase R&D investment and achievement transformation, guide universities and research institutes to carry out technical application research, and effectively solve technical problems of enterprises. Focus on cultivating high-tech enterprises, implement the high-tech enterprise doubling action plan, and the total number of high-tech enterprises in the county has reached 42 so far. 48 science and technology-based SMEs have been registered.
